Raquel Tibol, la compiladora, es quiza la mas sistematica defensora del muralismo mexicano; polemista, critica de arte, promotora e investigadora. Nacio en Argentina en 1923 y se naturalizo mexicana en 1961. Critica de arte, estudio en la Universidad de Buenos Aires. En 1953 vino a Mexico como secretaria de Diego Rivera y es hoy una de las expertas en arte que mejor conoce la vida y la obra de Frida Kahlo.
